ROD & GUN CLUB POSTINGS
November stuffed with turkey shoots, raffles

By Jodi Hubacz

Turkey shoots have started and run every Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon, weather and holidays permitting. There are various targets and rewards for each round. Come down, test your shooting skills against others, and practice for the upcoming hunting season.

The Brookfield Rod & Gun Club will be raffling off 20 turkeys and three complete dinner baskets on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 4 p.m. Dinner basket tickets can be purchased in advance from any club member and are $1 per chance. They will also be available for purchase at the door on the day of the raffle. Enjoy the fun, and win Thanksgiving dinner!!

Our paper mittens fundraiser will also be starting on Nov. 20. Donations can be made in $5, $10 or $20 increments and will be accepted till mid December.

The next monthly club meeting will be held Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. Club members and those interested in joining our club are encouraged to attend. Your input is important and needed for upcoming activities, fundraisers and events.

New Rod & Gun Club hours for the winter season are: Tuesday 6-9 p.m. for pitch league only, Wednesday through Saturday 3-6 p.m and Sunday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The club is closed on Mondays. If it is busy we will stay open later. Come down, and help us stay open!

Just a reminder that the clubhouse is also available for rent for weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, etc. Call the club at 508-867-7900 for rental rates and more information.
