Tantasqua
honors 85 achievers
Wednesday, Sept. 28 was a day of pride at Tantasqua Regional High
School. Eighty-five students received awards for academic improvement.
During a breakfast ceremony, Principal James White and Assistant
Principal Peter Dobrowolski congratulated students for their academic
accomplishments and thanked parents for taking the time to attend
this early morning function.
Students were honored for their efforts during the final quarter
of 2004-2005. Teachers select students based on their effort,
attendance, and academic improvement. Individuals need not be
earning the highest grade in class but to be observed as working
to their potential. The “Student of the Quarter” award
is offered at the close of each term
