Brookfield Savings Bank appoints new VPs
North Brookfield Savings Bank, an independent community bank with
full-service offices in North Brookfield, West Brookfield, Belchertown
and Palmer, recently named four new vice presidents.
Kirk P. Birnham, a North Brookfield native, was named vice president/chief
technology officer. Burnham joined North Brookfield Savings Bank
in 1987 and has served in a number of positions, most recently
as assistant vice president of technology. He is a 1994 graduate
of Nichols College with a degree in accounting, and he is currently
attending The National School of Banking.
Margaret I. (Peggy) Carr was promoted to the position of vice
president/human resources officer. Carr also joined the bank in
1987 and was named assistant vice president in 2001. She is the
assistant treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Quaboag
Valley Chamber of Commerce and serves as an ambassador for the
chamber. She is also a member of the Warren Cultural Council.
Dina A. Merwin was named vice president/branch administration
officer. She joined North Brookfield Savings Bank in 2002 as branch
manager and branch administrator in West Brookfield. She previously
served as branch manager of Country Bank’s Leicester office.
A West Warren resident, Merwin is a 2000 graduate of the Mass.
Bankers School for Financial Studies.
Stephen M Quink has returned to North Brookfield Savings Bank
as vice president of lending. Quink was an assistant treasurer
and senior loan officer here from 1983 to 2000. He served as a
branch manager for Hometown Bank in Sturbridge, Mass. from 2001
to 2005.
