Magical Strings Concert

Celebrate spring with Celtic music played by the Northwest’s internationally acclaimed harp and hammered dulcimer duo, Magical Strings. On 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 10 at the Brookfield Unitarian Universalist Church, Pam and Phillip Boulding of Magical Strings will delight us with their energetic arrangements of Celtic music and their own engaging compositions. Their performance intertwines Celtic roots with classical/world music influences. In addition to dancing hammers and pulsating harp strings, you are likely to hear pennywhistles, concertina, and even a valiha (Malagasy harp).

Practically a household name in the Northwest, Magical Strings has toured throughout the United States, Canada, the British Isles, and Japan. Since 1980, they have recorded 12 albums of gorgeous music.

Tickets are $12 for adults, and $10 for seniors and youth. To purchase tickets, contact Linda Friedmann at 508-347-7623, or send an email to lindacf@charter.net. It promises to be a memorable afternoon of music!
