The Friends of the Library are preparing for their favorite fundraiser and patron-preferred Silent Auction, beginning May 1 and ending June 3. Local artisans, businesses, and the public are invited to donate items during the month of April to be bid on throughout the month of May.

Book mobile
The Friends of the Library continue to deliver books on a temporary or regular schedule every Friday at 3 p.m. Please call the library for details at 508-867-6339.

Calling all poets
April is National Poetry Month. Patrons of all ages are welcome to submit their poetry to the library for display.

Online reference
New databases are available from Central Massachusetts Regional Library System. For 2006, they are subscribing to two Grolier products: Encyclopedia Americana and Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia. Call the library for more information.
