THE FOLDING CORNER
Folks step forward to fold, deliver
By Philip Peirce

Phil Peirce

Just like a “well-oiled machine” best describes our folding party. I open the doors, deliver the goods, trip off to my meeting, and return to find everything in order and ready for transport to the post office. One of this group even took some home to finish the job and delivered them the next morning to me. Now, that’s dedication! Thanks, Vern.

Thank you, Brenda, for answering my call for some help with the “transport” job. Brenda has been a big help already by helping me get each issue from the Town Hall to the Post Office. It’s those types of jobs that make this all work. It’s helping with something that can be done in a very short time, and, for the most part, in a time period that is flexible.

The last issue was Progressive Graphic’s last printing for the Brookfield Citizen. We are truly appreciative of the fine job you have done for us, Ray and Andy, and of the friendship we have nurtured over the past 10 years. Speaking for the entire staff, we wish you both the very best in your retirement, and whatever else you choose to do.

BT Copy and Printing on Rte. 20 in Charlton has printed this issue, and we are continuing to work on finding the best place and the best price for the job. Funding continues to be in short supply, but we are indeed grateful to all who have answered the call for donations. We will be pursuing a non-profit status in the months ahead, so that we can provide you with a charitable tax deduction in the future. We are and have been a not-for-profit organization, but never did the homework necessary to get to non-profit certification. This will allow us to seek more grants.
