The Folding Corner
By Philip Peirce

First things first. Pauline and Candice Merrick, Lucy Beeman, Kermit Eaton, and newcomers (welcome!) Jill Conrad and Tim Robben all joined me on December 1, 2004 to get the December issue assembled and out the door. I’ve turned over a new leaf. No more Senior Moments. (I hope!). Thank you all for your help.

I might mention that one of these fine people was also one of the persons who responded to my whining about roadside trash. I’m going to set a date for “Whiners Anonymous” in February, to meet and discuss the real issues surrounding the appearance of our roadsides in our otherwise beautiful town.

For those of you who continue to walk outside, (I happen to like to stay warm, and walk inside on my treadmill), I applaud those who pick up whatever they can handle as they see it. And, even though you don’t whine, you may join us, also.
